“One Day at Disney” Takes a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the People at Disney
Disney has brought us countless beloved stories. It’s time to hear the stories behind the people who bring life to them! It was announced at D23 Expo today that Disney Publishing Worldwide and Disney+ have collaborated to bring us One Day at Disney, a collectible book and documentary series that gives us an in-depth look at the unique and surprising roles that Cast Members call their daily jobs.
On December 3, Disney+ will debut the first short of its 52-episode, short-form series One Day at Disney, highlighting the creative forces in front of the cameras and behind-the-scenes at The Walt Disney Company. Debuting every week, each episode of the documentary series will profile a single remarkable person and their fascinating job. We’re so ready to delve into the day-to-day lives of legendary animators, Walt Disney Imagineers, talented actors, Walt Disney World veterinarians, and more. Talk about a dream job!
This series will launch the same day as a feature-length documentary and 224-page, hardbound coffee table book, which showcases spectacular images captured in 76 photoshoots around the world — from Shanghai Disneyland to Pixar Animation Studios to the set of ABC’s Modern Family.
We’re counting down the days until December 3 when the book hits the shelves, but you can pre-order it beginning on August 26. One Day at Disney debuts on Disney+. Disney+ is available for pre-order in the US. Be among the first to have it and start streaming November 12. Follow along for updates on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook!
