Sinbad Theater Demolition Begins at Lost Continent in Orlando

Aerial imagery reveals the start of demolition work on the Sinbad Theater within Universal Islands of Adventure. The former home of the popular live-action stunt show is being dismantled, with significant structural damage visible from above. Debris and twisted metal are scattered around as workers tear down the facade and building elements. This destruction follows tree clearing that began last fall to prepare the area for potential future developments. Although the attraction closed permanently in 2018, the theater remained standing until now. Universal has not yet revealed what new land or attractions will replace this section of Lost Continent. The area was previously expanded by Harry Potter themed lands and former coasters have since been replaced by newer rides.

SEEKING: A daring soul to share a spooky adventure with. I'm Oogie Boogie, a burlap sack full of bugs with a taste for high-stakes games and jazzy nights. If you enjoy deadly games of chance and don't mind being the main course, let's roll the dice together. No Jack Skellington types, please—this is a private party.

I also enjoy Halloween, and long walks in the graveyard.
