More Mandalorian Content coming soon! Mandalorian

Star Wars fans will find new adventures to follow with upcoming reading material regarding the exploits of characters featured in The Mandalorian. The new literature content is coming out later in 2020 and will soon go deeper into the world of the Disney+ series than ever before.

So far, it’s been revealed that the new publishing program will include books and other literary content for fans of all ages. The series kicks off this fall, but the planned releases will continue through 2021. For those curious to know more, then check out the list below for a look at some of what’s in store:

  • The Art of The Mandalorian (Season One) by Phil Szostak; cover by Doug Chiang
  • The Mandalorian: Original Novel (adult novel, Del Rey) by Adam Christopher
  • The Mandalorian: The Ultimate Visual Guide (DK) by Pablo Hidalgo
  • The Mandalorian: Allies & Enemies – Level Two Reader(DLP) by Brooke Vitale
  • The Mandalorian: 8×8 Storybook (title to be revealed later) by Brooke Vitale
  • The Mandalorian: Junior Novelization by Joe Schreiber

In addition, you’ll also find comic books coming from Marvel and IDW Publishing. Both are intended for teen and child readers. Also, there are magazine, novelty, coloring, and activity titles on the way from Titan, Studio Fun, Crayola, Thunder Bay Press, Disney Publishing Worldwide, and Dreamtivity. We personally look forward to seeing new coloring books featuring “The Child” because it’ll give families of all ages the chance to enjoy an artistic activity at home! Younger readers can look forward to a Little Golden Book and a Screen Comix retelling of Season One. It looks like we’ll have a lot to look forward to later this year!

The Child Plush by Mattel Arrives to Disney Springs

Is anyone else super ready for the return of The Mandalorian to Disney+? I certainly am, but we’ve got a bit of a wait still. Of course, for Mando fans, Disney keeps churning out merchandise featuring The Child – the adorable Baby Yoda character. At Disney Springs we came across The Child Plush by Mattel at World of Disney.

The plush doll has a truly authentic character likeness thanks to its plastic head. The rest of the doll is cuddly with soft fabric. There is also special packaging resembling the crib as seen in the show. The Child plush doll is $24.99 and is also available at shopDisney online.

Is The Child the way to your heart?

Beginning at 11:30AM CST, you will be able to enter a pre-waiting room. Then, at 12:00PM CST, you will be assigned a random place in line to hopefully secure your very own Baby Yoda.

While joining the virtual waiting room does not guarantee you a plush of the Child, it is currently the only way to obtain this item from Build-A-Bear.

If that seems like too much work, never fear! There are plenty of items currently in stock and available online.

Will you be trying to secure the asset tomorrow? Or is watching The Mandalorian on Disney+ enough for you? Let us know in a comment below!

Baby Yoda Balloon is now available at Disney Springs Baby Yoda

There’s a new Disney balloon for Star Wars fans! Those who visit Disney Springs will discover a brand new Baby Yoda Disney balloon. The Baby Yoda craze took off months ago when viewers were first introduced to “The Child” on The Mandalorian.

Look for Cast Members carrying balloons to see if they have the new Baby Yoda balloon available. It’s sure to be big hit for those who enjoy the the Star Wars character. We’re sure the balloon will be available inside the Walt Disney World theme parks once they reopen in July.

Also, if you’re going to Disney Springs, then look around for a Star Wars surprise! A pair of First Order Stormtroopers have invaded Disney Springs and can be seen in the upper level near the shopping district side of World of Disney. They’re stationed on the balconies, so look up to see if you can spot them.

You can find their patrol stations on balconies with the First Order banners. For fun, wear your Star Wars apparel to Disney Springs and show your allegiance to either the Resistance or First Order. The Stormtroopers might provide amusing commentary depending upon their interaction with each guest. Of course, they could also tell you to “move along” to promote social distancing.
