And based on a press release from the Cruise Lines International Association, we might be getting an update from Disney Cruise Line soon as well!

The Cruise Lines International Association, the world’s largest cruise industry trade association, said that its ocean-going cruise line members will voluntarily extend the suspension of cruise operations from U.S. ports until September 15th, 2020. Since Disney Cruise Line belongs to the CLIA, it seems as though Disney will extend the cancellation of its sailings as well.

Disney Cruise Line has already announced that European sailings are canceled through October 2nd, 2020, and Canadian sailings are canceled through September 14th, 2020. However, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy sailings are only listed as canceled through July 27th, 2020, at this time.

The Disney Cruise Line website references the cancellation of all Disney Magic departures through October 2nd. The Disney Magic makes up all European departures, effectively suspending European cruises through the fall.

Those being affected by the sailings are being offered “the choice of a cruise credit to be used for a future sailing or a full refund.” If you are affected by a canceled sailing, you should receive an email from Disney Cruise Line with the next steps. If you booked through a travel agent, they will contact your agent. No action is needed on your part at this time.
