Tropical Americas Land Arrives at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2027

Disney has officially revealed detailed plans for a new land called Tropical Americas, which is currently under construction within the DinoLand U.S.A. area of Animal Kingdom. The centerpiece of this development will be Pueblo Esperanza, a fictional South American village inspired by the movie Encanto. Guests can experience Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto, a ride-through attraction featuring the original voice cast and 50 animatronic animals with no height restriction. Another major highlight is Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, which replaces the former DINOSAUR ride and features Harrison Ford’s likeness in the animatronic. The land will also include El Carrusel de los Animalitos, a carousel with 22 distinct Disney characters, plus a large quick-service restaurant and playground. Construction is expected to be completed by 2027, when Tropical Americas will officially open to visitors.
