Disney has officially revealed detailed plans for a new land called Tropical Americas, which is currently under construction within the DinoLand U.S.A. area of Animal Kingdom. The centerpiece of this development will be Pueblo Esperanza, a fictional South American village inspired by the movie Encanto. The land will also include El Carrusel de los Animalitos, a carousel with 22 distinct Disney characters, plus a large quick-service restaurant and playground. Construction is expected to be completed by 2027, when Tropical Americas will officially open to visitors.
