Universal Files Permit to Build NEW Attraction in Epic Universe

Universal has filed a new permit for a 71,500-square-foot structure at Epic Universe, signaling plans for expansion. The building’s category covers recreational, social, or sauna facilities, suggesting it could be a medium-sized attraction or live entertainment venue. Stantec Architecture is the contractor and is also working on another project in Celestial Park. Concept art from Dark Universe included a theater that did not appear in the final park design. This new structure aligns with the square footage of existing attractions like Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge and The Untrainable Dragon show. Further updates on construction will be provided as more information becomes available.
