Universal Studios is preparing to open a new theme park called Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas on July 1st, 2026. This family-focused destination features seven themed lands including Shrek, SpongeBob Squarepants, and Jurassic World. The Jurassic World Adventure Camp land specifically targets younger children with dinosaur-themed attractions and experiences. Main attractions include the Jurassic World Cretaceous Coaster roller coaster where guests search for a missing ankylosaurus named Baby Bumpy. Other rides in this land include Mr DNA’s Double-Helix Spin and the family-friendly Pteranodrop soft drop ride. The camp offers various food options at the Jurassic World Canteen including dinosaur-themed pizzas and hot dogs. Guests can meet baby raptors up close and purchase merchandise at Jurassic World Outfitters. The land also includes play areas like a sensory garden and dinosaur paddock themed zones for children to explore.
