Universal Destinations and Experiences is launching its first regional theme park specifically designed for families with young children. The new Universal Kids Resort will officially open its doors on July 1, 2026, in Frisco, Texas. This 20-acre destination features seven distinct lands with interactive play areas, family-friendly rides, and splash zones. Popular characters from DreamWorks, Illumination, and Nickelodeon will bring their worlds to life within the park. Ticket sales and hotel bookings have already begun for summer vacations. The on-site Universal Kids Resort Hotel will open on June 30, 2026, offering various room configurations for families. Multiple ticket options and customizable vacation packages are now available for purchase.
