Universal has announced a special preview period for its new Universal Kids Resort, allowing eager families to experience the upcoming theme park before its official grand opening on July 1, 2026. The preview will take place from June 24 through June 29, with tickets priced at $49.99 plus tax for visitors who want an early look at the brand-new destination. During this preview time, some attractions and entertainment offerings may not be available as team members complete final rehearsals and preparations for opening day. Located in Frisco, Texas, Universal Kids Resort is the company’s first theme park specifically designed for families with young children. The park will feature seven immersive themed lands inspired by beloved franchises including Shrek, Puss in Boots, Minions, Jurassic World, Trolls, and SpongeBob SquarePants. In addition to themed lands, the resort will offer character meet-and-greets, family-friendly entertainment, themed dining, shopping, interactive play areas, splash zones, and sensory-friendly spaces created with younger guests in mind.
