Universal Orlando Ends Free Late-Night Parking for Halloween Horror Nights 2026

Universal Orlando Resort has announced a significant policy change for its upcoming Halloween Horror Nights event in 2026. The theme park will now charge parking fees to all guests until 2 a.m. on event nights, eliminating the previous perk that allowed late arrivals to park for free after midnight. This adjustment primarily affects visitors who previously relied on arriving late to avoid parking costs while attending haunted houses or exploring CityWalk. Annual Passholders with Preferred and Premier tiers will retain complimentary parking benefits, as will those purchasing premium event packages like Scream Night. The resort’s Halloween Horror Nights 35 runs from late August through early November, featuring ten new haunted houses including one themed after the Sinners series. Guests planning their visit should now budget for standard self-parking rates of $32 to $35 unless they qualify for special passholder or ticket-based discounts.
