Walt Disney World Enhances Family-Friendly Resort Amenities for Young Children

Walt Disney World is implementing new improvements to address concerns that the resort is catering less to middle-class families with young children. The latest additions include upgraded free room amenities specifically designed for parents, babies, and toddlers. These enhancements are part of the Cool Kids Summer event, which runs through September 8, 2026, and includes both permanent changes and temporary offerings. At select Value and Moderate Resorts, guests can now enjoy scheduled character appearances with set times, expanded family activity itineraries, and complimentary items like bottle warmers and infant bathtubs. The resort has also replaced traditional toddler bed rails with new cushioned bed bumpers that provide a secure barrier to prevent young children from rolling out of bed. Additionally, families can access special libraries, pajama parties, pool entertainment, and campfire sing-alongs during the summer season. These changes aim to improve the quality of stay and make Disney World more appealing to families with young children.

SEEKING: A daring soul to share a spooky adventure with. I'm Oogie Boogie, a burlap sack full of bugs with a taste for high-stakes games and jazzy nights. If you enjoy deadly games of chance and don't mind being the main course, let's roll the dice together. No Jack Skellington types, please—this is a private party.

I also enjoy Halloween, and long walks in the graveyard.
