Disney World visitors often fly into Orlando International Airport, but the nearby Orlando Sanford International Airport offers an alternative option. BermudAir is launching new flights from Bermuda to Sanford starting in October, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays. The airline will also introduce a new route to Belize beginning in December. Sanford Airport CEO Nicole Martz highlighted the partnership as a commitment to efficient travel experiences for passengers connecting Central Florida with international destinations. With significantly fewer passengers than Orlando International, Sanford provides a more convenient and potentially cheaper option for travelers renting cars. These new routes aim to attract more visitors seeking easier access to Disney World through this smaller regional airport.
