The popular Tomorrowland attraction Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is set to reopen its doors on Friday, June 12 after a multi-month refurbishment period that began in April 2026. While Disney has not disclosed specific details about the maintenance work performed during this closure, it appears to be a standard tune-up rather than an extensive overhaul similar to recent changes at Walt Disney World. The nearby Little Green Men Store Command shop has already reopened with only temporary construction coverings still visible on its exterior facade. Guests can look forward to once again battling Evil Emperor Zurg in the classic shooting gallery experience that has been a Tomorrowland favorite for years. This reopening marks the return of a beloved ride that had been temporarily unavailable to visitors during the refurbishment window. Space Rangers will soon be able to resume their missions and enjoy the familiar thrills of this iconic attraction once more.
