Construction Progress Visible at Tropical Americas in Animal Kingdom

Construction activity is accelerating at the upcoming Tropical Americas land within Disney’s Animal Kingdom, with new concrete forms now visible above construction barriers. Workers have installed large structures that will form part of the infrastructure for this highly anticipated area replacing DinoLand U.S.A. Concrete forms near the future carousel location allow crews to access tops of structures while preparing to pour walls and foundations. Additional forms appear closer to Theater in the Wild where Finding Nemo continues entertaining guests while construction proceeds nearby. The exterior of the future Encanto attraction show building now features more green paneling that will eventually be concealed by lush landscaping and a Casita-inspired façade. When Tropical Americas opens, visitors will experience an Encanto-themed ride, a new Indiana Jones adventure, and a colorful carousel inspired by the region’s tropical setting. Each construction milestone brings Disney fans closer to exploring this exciting new corner of Animal Kingdom as the former DinoLand U.S.A. footprint transforms.
