Disney revealed exciting new cruise announcements at the D23 fan event, including plans to double cruises from the Port of San Diego. The Disney Believe ship will launch in late 2027 with artwork inspired by popular stories like Encanto and Frozen. A new class of ships is set to debut in 2029, positioned between classic vessels and newer ones for expanded destination options. The Disney Wish will sail to Europe starting summer 2027, while the Magic and Wonder return to Alaska routes. Creative director Claire Weiss highlighted themes of belief, magic, and family for the new cruise experience.
