Disney Cruise Line Updates Stateroom Door Decoration Policy Starting June 3

Disney Cruise Line is implementing new guidelines for stateroom door decorations beginning on June 3. Passengers sailing after this date must adhere to these updated rules regarding cabin personalization. The policy maintains the tradition of decorating doors with magnets but establishes stricter boundaries for placement. Decorations are now limited strictly to the stateroom door itself, with no extensions allowed onto corridor walls or ceilings. Guests are prohibited from using adhesives like tape and cannot include sound or video elements in their decorations. Additionally, expensive items should be avoided as the cruise line assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged decor. A $100 fee will be charged per incident for any damage caused to stateroom doors by decorations. These measures aim to prevent surface damage while allowing guests to personalize their cabins within defined limits.
