Walt Disney World has announced extended operating hours for several parks during the week leading up to the Fourth of July holiday. Magic Kingdom will see significant changes with later closing times on June 30 and July 2, an earlier opening on July 3, and midnight closure on Independence Day itself. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also stay open until 10 p.m. on June 29 and 30 instead of the usual 9 p.m. closing time. While EPCOT maintains its regular schedule through the holiday weekend, it will still feature special patriotic fireworks presentations during this period. The water parks Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon will continue their standard operating hours from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout the week. These extended hours are designed to accommodate increased attendance expected during this popular holiday week at the resort.
