The boat dock at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has officially reopened after being closed since May 11th for construction. This transportation option had been unavailable to guests who typically use boats to reach Magic Kingdom and other Bay Lake resorts. While this particular perk is now restored, significant construction continues elsewhere at the property including work on the main entrance and bus loop. Exterior renovations are also underway between the pool area and Capt Cooks quick service restaurant location. Guests staying at the resort can now once again enjoy this convenient water transportation method to various destinations. The reopening marks progress on one aspect of ongoing improvements while other areas remain under development. Visitors are encouraged to follow updates for future construction milestones at this popular Disney World hotel.
