Fire at Six Flags Magic Mountain Damages Land and Closes Rides Temporarily

A brush fire erupted beneath the X2 roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain on June 11th, consuming approximately half an acre of land. Firefighters responded quickly to the incident, extinguishing the flames within twenty minutes before they could threaten nearby structures or attractions. Both the X2 and Viper roller coasters were temporarily closed as a safety precaution while crews worked at the scene. Fortunately, no guests required evacuation and no injuries were reported among visitors or firefighting personnel. Investigators remain on site to determine the cause of the fire and monitor for any potential hazards. The park has resumed normal operations after confirming that all rides are safe for public use.
