Disney World guests planning visits to Magic Kingdom often utilize the Transportation and Ticket Center as a primary access point. This location provides direct connections through either monorail services or ferry boats to reach the iconic theme park. A new ferry vessel is currently under construction and scheduled to enter service during 2027, expanding the total fleet to include four boats. The upcoming 120-foot ferry accommodates up to 600 passengers and has been officially named in honor of Meg Gilbert Crofton. She served as Walt Disney World’s fourth president from 2006 until 2013 and held numerous significant leadership positions throughout her career. Construction progress shows positive development with visible work on both the lower deck structure and stairways connecting levels. While the new vessel advances, another historic boat known as the Liberty Belle remains preserved nearby after its original route ended due to park changes.
