New Track Sections Added to Hollywood Drift Coaster at Universal Studios Florida

Construction crews are installing additional track sections on the Hollywood Drift attraction at Universal Studios Florida, bringing the massive coaster closer to completion. New aerial photos reveal that more track has been added to the towering spike element, which will stand approximately 170 feet tall and serve as a dead-end section where vehicles rocket upward before reversing direction. The light blue-gray track continues weaving through dark blue support columns, with cranes still working on assembling the structure near Hard Rock Cafe. Additional track pieces have also been installed on nearby lower curves and brake runs to further define the coaster layout. Hollywood Drift is expected to open in 2027 after replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, promising high-speed adrenaline-fueled action for guests visiting Universal Studios Florida.
