Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs Reopens with New Safety Measures

Amorette’s Patisserie

No trip to Disney Springs is complete without yummy Disney treats. For some of the best desserts around, there is no better option than Amorette’s Patisserie. However, due to the coronavirus closures, we have been deprived of our favorites baked goods for several weeks. But at last, as of Friday the 5th of June, they have reopened to the public!

Since suspending operations on March 17th, Disney Springs in Walt Disney World began a phased re-opening on May 20 of this year. Select stores and restaurants have been accessible since then, but notable others have remained closed. Amorette’s, on the Marketplace side of the Springs, is now welcoming back customers. They’ve implemented new safety measures for the health of their guests, starting with a masked employee to open entry and exit doors, reducing the need for people to touch handles. If germs on hands are still a concern, hand sanitizing stations are located in front of the entryway.

Upon entering, guests will notice social distancing markers on the floor where they are to line up and order. All employees are masked and gloved, and a partition adds an extra protective layer between Cast Members and customers at pay stations. Aside from that, Amorette’s remains largely the same, offering the same delicious treats we love.

Have you been to Amorette’s Patisserie since reopening? What beautiful dessert(s) will you be ordering first?

NEWS: Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney World Just Raised Their Alcohol Prices

Just moments ago we reported that Amorette’s Patisserie had officially reopened in Disney Springs!

Amorette’s

And while they only have a limited menu right now (they hope to be fully operational by Sunday), we noticed they’ve made few price increases on some of their alcoholic beverages!

When we stopped by Amorette’s Patisserie earlier today, we snapped this pic of their menu and we compared some of their items to their pre-closure prices, we noticed a few discrepancies!

Amorette’s Menu

While Taittinger by the bottle still costs $80 (this place is fancy FANCY!) the champagne served by the glass is now $18 instead of $17. Amorette’s other bubbly, Iron Horse Fairy Tale Celebration, is still $38 by the bottle but has gone up to $18 from $15 by the glass.

Banfi Rosa Regale Sparkling Red is still $31 by the bottle, but now costs $16 by the glass instead of its former $13. Nino Franco Rustico Prosecco is also still $28 by the bottle but $12 by the glass — a dollar extra. Lastly, their Wilson Creek Almond Sparkling Wine has gone up from $39 to $45 by the bottle and from $9 to $11 by the glass.

Those are all the items Amorette’s Patisserie has raised its prices on so far — we’ll be sure to let you know if we spot any more increases!

One of our favorite Disney Springs just reopened! Find out which one here!

NEWS: Amorette’s Patisserie Reopened in Disney World Today

While some Disney-owned businesses have reopened at Disney Springs including The Daily Poutine, B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co., and more recently Once Upon a Toy, we can now add Amorette’s Patisserie to the list!

Amorette’s

We noticed the bakery was finally open today, so we walked on over to check it out!

According to the Cast Member we spoke with, Amorette’s full menu isn’t quite available yet, but they’re hoping to be able to offer all of their items (including sammies) by this Sunday once they get up to speed!

Get the latest scoop on what’s new at Disney Springs here!

Amorette’s Bakery Case

There aren’t any new menu items since we last visited Amorette’s Patisserie back in March. In fact, we spotted an item that’s been around since Valentine’s Day — which we’ll get to in a sec!

Amorette’s Menu

We were happy to see there Wine Slushy machines were up and runnin’ today tho! Hello Shiraz and Moscato!

In the dining area, the tables have been moved further apart while social distancing markers on the ground show guests where they should stand while ordering at the counter.

We also noticed Amorette’s has the new utensil dispensers we’ve spotted previously! These things are so cool because you only touch the hand of the utensil you’re grabbing!

Plexiglass shields have been installed at the cash registers and the pastries you order are now served on disposable paper trays. They’re also still accepting all forms of payment.

Amorette’s

But now it’s time to get down to the nitty GRITTY and do what we do best — EAT STUFF! Remember that V-Day treat we mentioned earlier? Well, here it is! Looks-wise, it kinda reminds us of the rose-shaped dessert we enjoyed at Epcot’s Festival of the Arts earlier this year!

Rose Pastry

We can see why this stunning beauty stuck around for a while to give folks time to enjoy it now that Amorette’s has reopened! The Rose Pastry features chocolate mousse, a layer of spongy chocolate cake, and a sweet raspberry filling! We also love how it’s dusted with a rose-red cocoa powder and “dew drops” made of gel icing. It even comes topped with a touch of edible gold leaf!

Rose Pastry

The bottom cake layer of the Rose Pastry was very soft and moist while the mousse texture was almost more like a pudding which we really enjoyed. The raspberry filling’s texture was a little too solid for our liking. It just sort of fell out as a whole and wasn’t too flavorful.

Rose Pastry

All in all, we thought the Rose Pastry is great if you love desserts that combine rich, creamy chocolate with sweet, tart raspberry flavors! You can pick up the Rose Pastry for $8 at Amorette’s Patisserie, now open in Disney Springs!

Check out these adorable Forky socks we just spotted at Disney Springs here!
