Universal Orlando Jurassic Park River Adventure Undergoes Major Refurbishment Until November 19th

The popular Jurassic Park River Adventure at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure has remained closed since January 5th due to extensive refurbishment work. Construction is expected to continue until November 19th, leaving guests without access to this beloved attraction for several more months. Aerial photographs shared by a social media user reveal significant progress on the project, including roofing work at the entrance and new wall construction in the paddock area. The images also show that some ride components, such as the Ultrasaurus mechanical neck and boats previously stored near Epic Universe, have been returned to the site. Despite the lengthy closure, visible scaffolding and ongoing construction demonstrate that substantial work has been completed since the start of the year. Visitors will need to enjoy other attractions at Universal Orlando while waiting for this fan favorite ride to reopen in late November.
