Walt Disney World has announced lobby refurbishments at Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Kidani Village, beginning August 2025 through November 2026. The phased project will close the main lobby, primary entrance, and surrounding corridors, with check-in relocating to the Palace Library during closures. These lobby updates coincide with a separate ongoing room renovation covering both Jambo House and Kidani Village, marking the first major hard goods refurbishment since the villas opened between 2007 and 2009. The room updates include Inova pull-down beds, more USB ports, laminate flooring, and brighter color schemes while retaining unique thematic furniture. Early reviews of the completed Kidani Village rooms have been positive, praising the balance of contemporary convenience and themed design. Guests may experience construction noise and disruption in lobby areas, with Jambo House recommended as a better option during the Kidani lobby work period.
