Disney Parks See Record Low Summer Crowds With Minimal Wait Times Across All Attractions This Week

Summer crowds at Disney parks have reached historically low levels, with average attendance dropping below three on a weekly basis. This marks the slowest summer start since 2014 and continues to decelerate further each week. Park-by-park analysis reveals that EPCOT often competes for the lowest crowd levels while Animal Kingdom struggles with higher attendance despite overall low numbers. Touring Plans predictions proved highly accurate, hitting within one or two crowd levels sixty-four percent of the time during this period. Unexpected attraction downtime averaged five point one percent across all parks, with Animal Kingdom experiencing the most significant capacity loss at six point three percent. Test Track emerged as the primary culprit for downtime issues, particularly affecting EPCOT rope drop experiences when unavailable for extended periods. Posted wait times showed reduced inflation compared to historical averages, with actual waits averaging seventy-seven percent of posted durations. Magic Kingdom achieved notably low average park-wide waits of twenty-one minutes while Hollywood Studios remained slightly higher at thirty-three minutes. The Lines App data collection continues to provide valuable insights into real-time wait conditions across all Disney properties.
