Dole

The Walt Disney Company and Dole are partnering up for an eight-month campaign to promote healthy eating. Sure, we miss eating a Dole Whip in Adventureland, but we can all enjoy Dole’s fruit with Disney magic at home, too!

Dole is featuring 15 different Disney and Pixar characters on their fruit packages. You can find them in U.S. and Canadian grocery supermarkets. The fruit packages have characters taken from the following films:

  • Toy Story
  • A Bug’s Life
  • Monsters, Inc.
  • Finding Nemo
  • The Incredibles
  • Cars
  • Ratatouille
  • WALL•E
  • Up
  • Brave
  • Inside Out
  • The Good Dinosaur
  • Coco
  • Onward
  • Soul

The initiative to promote healthy eating and nutrition is a great message for kids. Fresh fruit and vegetables are vital for a healthy lifestyle. In the meantime, you can play Dole’s Banana Sticker Peel and Play by collecting 25 unique stickers featuring Pixar Animation characters. Go here to download the sheets for the Banana Sticker Peel and Play activity at home. Here’s a chart of all the unique Pixar character banana stickers to collect!

Remember, Dole’s Healthy Eating Campaign with Disney’s Pixar characters runs through December 2020. Next time you go to the grocery store, keep an eye out for Dole fruit packages featuring your favorite Pixar characters!

Dole Whip Nachos a Refreshing Treat at Disney Springs

dole whip nachos disney springs

I am a lover of nachos and these Dole Whip Nachos were not disappointing.  And it was so nice to finally taste Disney’s Dole Whip again!

Dole Whip Nachos are waffle cone “chips” topped with pineapple Dole Whip, mango boba pearls, pineapple, strawberry syrup, and whipped cream.  The mango boba pearls were such a good touch and I personally enjoyed using the “chips” to scoop up the toppings. Such a fun twist!

On a hot and humid Florida day, like today, these were such a welcome and refreshing treat… maybe even big enough to share.  The Dole Whip Nachos are sold at Marketplace Snacks which is across from Disney’s Marketplace Co-op at Disney Springs.  Marketplace Snacks is your source for all pineapple Dole Whip cravings.

The treat costs $8.99 and cannot be redeemed for a snack credit.  Also, be sure to follow social distancing markers that are there for your safety and the safety of the cast members.  Will you be heading to Disney Springs soon to satisfy some of your Disney cravings?

We can’t wait for that great big beautiful tomorrow in the parks when we can experience the magic again.
